Delete My Account

Oreya is a marketplace complemented by a matchmaking application. The marketplace and the matchmaking service are two separate sub-applications working in parallel. As separate applications, each has its own signup and login. Therefore, the matchmaking application has its own signup/login, and the marketplace contains its own signup/login.

1) Want to delete your personal details from Oreya Marketplace? No Problem!

If you want to delete your personal details from OREYA account, simply click the “Delete My Account” button below. We will start to process your request, but please be aware that once the request has been made and processed, all your personal details maybe deleted and cannot be reversed. Moreover, if you choose to interact with our Marketplace again, we may start collecting these details again as and when required.

2) DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT MEANS:

If you have created a separate account on the Oreya Matchmaking app, you will need to delete that account separately.

All personal details that we have collected about you on the Oreya marketplace maybe deleted if applicable.

If you are okay with this, click “DELETE MY ACCOUNT” below to complete the verification process. We need to verify that we are communicating with the account holder, as this helps protect your personal information. Only you (or, if you are unable, someone acting on your behalf) have the right to request the deletion of your personal information.

Our team will action your request as soon as possible and will update you once the request has been completed.

3) DELETING YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS DOES NOT MEAN:

That we will delete all of the information we hold about you.

Please understand that the right to deletion is not an absolute right. This means that even if you request the deletion of your personal information, we may need to retain certain data for the following reasons:

• Where your information is still necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, for example, to comply with our contractual obligations related to the purchase of our items;
• Where we must retain information to comply with legal obligations, such as statutory audit requirements and tax purposes, and to demonstrate our compliance with legal obligations related to this request; or
• Where the information is required to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
